RSRef2000 in the CSB Core

RSRef2000 runs as a module for CNS, supporting simulated annealing or least-squares optimization with Cartesian or torsion angle parameterization of the model.

RSRef2000 is distributed by Michael Chapman at Florida State University. Click here for the RSRef home page at FSU.

Using RSRef2000 in the CSB Core

RSRef2000 is installed in the CSB core under license, and may not be copied.

RSRef2000 has been installed on emperor, one of our linux/intel workstations. At this writing (September, 2003), it has not been tested by real users. If anyone would like to use RSRef2000 on other platforms (SGI, Alpha), let the staff know.

To run RSRef2000 on emperor:

setup rsref2000

Now, you may type, rsref.py for the command line version, or rsrefGUI.py for the GUI version.

Good luck!
