Phaser


Phaser is a program for phasing macromolecular crystal structures with maximum likelihood methods. It has been developed by Randy Read's group at the University of Cambridge and will be available through the PHENIX and CCP4 software suites, and directly from this site.

To use in the Core on a Linux, SGI, Alpha, or Mac OSX workstation, simply type:

setup phaser


Documentation is available locally, as well as from the Phaser website.

Phaser tutorials are available for the command line, PHENIX, and CCP4i.; the data files are available locally in the directory $PHASER_TUTOR once Phaser has been set up.
