The CSB Core does not maintain a public ftp server.
Those with CSB computing accounts can us sftp to transfer files to and from CSB computers. See http://www.csb.yale.edu/info/out_access.html .
If you have files you wish to make available to the public, use the CSB web server. Speak to one of the CSB compouting staff if you need help.
Yale maintains a service for exchanging large files. You can use it to send large files to people on or off campus, or to arrange for others to send large files to you.
In order to send files using this facility, you must have a Yale NetID.
In order to receive files using this facility, you must have an email address of the form firstname.lastname@yale.edu. (Click here for email address information).
